Virgil Abloh presents a relatively straightforward take on Bruce Kilgore's design with this Off-White x Air Force 1 Low. That isn't to suggest there aren't unique details on the reconstructed build: in addition to a mix of ripstop and suede, the upper features taped seams and a white Swoosh attached via zigzag stitching. Exposed foam and misplaced tags appear on the tongue, while 'LOGO' inscribed on the heel tab delivers a final meta flourish.

In January 2018, MoMA exclusively sold the sneaker to celebrate its 'Items: Is Fashion Modern?' exhibition. Abloh dips the leather upper in a rich mustard yellow hue, save for a silver Swoosh outlined in contrast zigzag stitching and the designer's signature Helvetica text on the medial quarter panel. A matching yellow midsole features 'AIR' printed on the lateral sidewall. Exposed foam construction is utilized on the collar and tongue, the latter decorated with a woven tag that displays 'OFF' Nike Air branding. Abloh leaves his final mark by looping his signature zip tie around the laces.

The upper of the silhouette comes constructed out of leather material, with the tonal gray hue taking up most of the upper. The gray leather uppers contrast with the stitched-on metallic foil colors. The metallic silver foil is affixed upon the swoosh logos on both the medial and lateral sides. The sneakers are marked with sarcastic lines from Off-White and Abloh's signature zip ties in white and monochrome gray. A zip-tie tag, "SHOELACES" text above the laces, a tongue tag that has been moved, exposed stitching, "Nike Air" embroidery at the back, and other details complete the raw construction shoe. White laces and inner linings provide another color into the mix over the design, and lastly, the black Abloh zip-tie is added over the "AIR" quotations on the midsoles.
