The high-top dons a smooth leather upper, featuring a black base with contrasting white accents on the toe box, Swoosh, heel and collar overlay. The latter is marked with a black Wings logo, while a woven Nike Air tag embellishes the nylon tongue. Encapsulated Air-sole cushioning enhances the rubber cupsole, which pairs white sidewalls with a black outsole.

The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Airness' represents the follow-up to the creative partners' successful Air Jordan 3 collaboration from spring 2021. The iconic silhouette replaces traditional leather construction with a textured suede upper in a subtle off-white finish. Premium touches include burgundy snakeskin on the collar and Swoosh, along with a quilted satin lining in the same autumnal hue. A traditional Wings logo is stamped on the collar flap, the interior side of which features MJ's signature and an inscription that reads 'You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.' Additional branding includes a woven tongue tag marked with dual Nike Air and A Ma Maniére logos. The high-top rides on a pre-yellowed midsole and burgundy rubber outsole.
In 1985 sports photographer, Chuck Kohn, photographed Michael Jordan wearing the Air Jordan 1 Royals. This photo turned Nike poster was the first time anyone saw Michael wearing the Air Jordan 1 sneakers. Ever. Known to be his favorite colorway, Jordan chose the Royals to be the first Air Jordan 1 available for purchase. They were also the only color-way out of the Top 3 Air Jordan 1 Retro colorways ('Banned' and 'Chicago') that he never wore on the court. Since 1985, the Royals have been released in 2001, 2013, and 2017.
Dressed in a Sail, Black, and Varsity Maize color scheme. This Air Jordan 1 is highlighted with several different texts throughout the entire shoe. "Not For Resale" on the midsole, and "No L's" printed on the insole completes the theme.
Jordan Brand will be bringing back the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Black/White" colorway from 1985, but this 2019 release will come with a bit of a twist. Nearly an identical color scheme as the original release, but instead of having White laces this one opts for Black. Another added detail includes a textured fur-style material on its overlays and Swoosh logo, while having a raised badge-style Wings logo on the collar.

Inspired by Japan's capital city, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High 'Tokyo Bio Hack' features color blocking that recalls Undefeated's Nike Dunk High NL collaboration from 2005. The leather and suede upper brings together an eclectic mix of colors, including rustic earth tones, eye-catching vibrant hues and a lone pop of metallic silver on the signature Swoosh. A painted midsole combines with a stitched Nike tag atop the exposed foam tongue for a unique DIY aesthetic.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Heritage' showcases a familiar color scheme rooted in the history of the Jordan franchise. The white leather upper features contrasting hits of University Red on the toe box, Swoosh, heel, and ankle flap. The latter is stamped with a retro Wings logo in black, matching the laces and high-cut padded collar. Nike Air branding decorates the woven tongue tag. Banned by the NBA in 1985, Michael Jordan was charged $5,000 per game for wearing the Air Jordan 1 'Black/Red' because they didn't include the color white which was part of the Chicago Bulls' official team colors. Used as a marketing tactic, Nike crafted the 'Banned' campaign around the sneakers to launch and promote the Air Jordan line. The sneaker was retroed in 1994, 2011, 2013 and 2016. The 2011 pair featured an 'X' on the heel paying homage to the 'Banned' nickname.
This Air Jordan 1 receives the traditional "Banned" aka "Bred" color scheme of Black and Red that's built with a full premium leather upper and rests atop a clean White midsole and Red rubber outsole. Some of the notable features to this release includes 'Nike Air' branding on the tongue and will not include the 'X' detailing on the heel that was seen on the original "Banned" release from 2011.

The group includes four differers colorways of the Air Jordan 1, each representing a significant milestone in Michael Jordan's career. All four shoes in the collection feature the Black Toe blocking, suede overlays and a hand of cards on the insoles — the "Clay Green" colorway pays homage to Michael Jordan's biggest career accomplishments: Championship Winner, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Hall of Fame induction. Graphics of a full-house of playing cards on the right insole completes the design.
