Union Los Angeles and Jordan Brand are teaming up once again to release two new Air Jordan 4 colorways in celebration of the boutiques 30th Anniversary. Both have a similar build to last year's Union x Air Jordan 4 releases, while these "30th Anniversary" pairs comes constructed in a mix of mesh and suede with translucent wings returning. Other details includes signature Yellow UN/LA lateral tags, pre-folded tongues and frontman-branded hangtags that read 1991-2021 in a shape of a road sign. Co-branded insoles atop a Sail rubber sole completes the designs.

The 2023 edition of the Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Thunder' brings back the coveted colorway originally released in 2006 (and previously reissued in 2012). The upper is draped in smooth black nubuck, contrasted by hits of yellow on the molded eyelets, quarter panel, and lower tongue, with the latter two components covered in black netting. Jumpman branding appears on the Flight tongue tag and molded heel tab. Lightweight cushioning comes courtesy of a yellow polyurethane midsole, enhanced with an exposed Air-sole unit in the heel.

The Union LA x Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Off Noir' represents the follow-up effort to the duo's highly coveted Air Jordan 1 collaboration from 2018. The updated design features a black suede upper with matching black mesh on the toe box and blue mesh around the collar. The semi-translucent structural wings are attached to molded red eyelets, matching the woven Air Jordan tag atop the padded tongue and Nike Air branding on the heel. The TPU wings are filled in, reminiscent of an original Tinker Hatfield sketch of the AJ4, while the AIR JORDAN tag usually found on the inside of the tongue conveys a unique look, like someone folded the tongue over to expose the inside tag. Finally, a 'UN/LA' tag on the side panel shows the Union heritage and a yellowed midsole conveys a vintage aesthetic.
