The Union LA x Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Off Noir' represents the follow-up effort to the duo's highly coveted Air Jordan 1 collaboration from 2018. The updated design features a black suede upper with matching black mesh on the toe box and blue mesh around the collar. The semi-translucent structural wings are attached to molded red eyelets, matching the woven Air Jordan tag atop the padded tongue and Nike Air branding on the heel. The TPU wings are filled in, reminiscent of an original Tinker Hatfield sketch of the AJ4, while the AIR JORDAN tag usually found on the inside of the tongue conveys a unique look, like someone folded the tongue over to expose the inside tag. Finally, a 'UN/LA' tag on the side panel shows the Union heritage and a yellowed midsole conveys a vintage aesthetic.

Paying tribute to the Eminem's 2004 album ENCORE, the Eminem x Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Encore' was released in a limited run of 50. The sneaker features a navy blue suede upper with mesh paneling on the side and forefoot for breathability. Other design details include black leather accents on the sides, tongue, midsole, and laces, as well as grey details on the branded heel. For contrast and comfort, the sneaker sports a partially encapsulated white Air unit in the midsole with responsive cushioning. This shoe was only given away to a few contest winners and friends and family of Eminem.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro GS 'Wild Things' updates Tinker Hatfield's original design with a cozy build. The upper is crafted from tan leather with tonal fleece construction on the collar and tongue. Molded eyelets are rendered in neon green, pink, royal blue and crimson, with the latter two hues color-matched to the sneaker's structural wings. Jumpman branding decorates the molded heel tab and woven tongue tag, both rendered in a dark beige finish. Lightweight cushioning is provided by a white foam midsole, enhanced with visible Air-sole cushioning and reinforced with grippy gum rubber under the forefoot and heel.

An Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Motorsports Alternate,' released a few months later in a black colorway.
