Inspired by the breathtaking sunsets of J Balvin's hometown of Medellin, Colombia, this special-edition AJ3 sports an ivory-colored leather upper with tonal elephant print overlays at the forefoot and heel. A gradient blend of yellow, orange and dark purple lands on the rear midsole and molded back tab, featuring mismatched Nike branding on the left shoe and J Balvin's smiley face icon on the right. Made in collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara's influential design label, the Fragment Design x Air Jordan 3 Retro SP delivers a minimalist take on the classic silhouette. The sneaker's tumbled white leather upper is offset by a black leather mudguard and matching black leather overlays at the toe and heel. The latter is stamped with Fragment's double lightning bolt logo - an insignia that's repeated appearance on the back heel, visible beneath a translucent overlay with embossed Jumpman branding.

Based upon Tinker Hatfield's original sketches of the 1988 icon, the Air Jordan 3 Retro Tinker SP resurfaces with upgraded materials in a classic color scheme borrowed from another famous Tinker design. This March 2019 'Tinker Air Max 1' sneaker features a leather constructed upper with perforated detailing and a bold suede University Red mudguard. The Jumpman logo is embroidered on the tongue, while a Swoosh hits the lateral side that can be swapped out between three different designs. Tinker Hafield's signature is featured on the inside of the tongue, while the classic visible Air unit and NIKE AIR branding on the heel pay homage to the shoe's legacy.

A 1988 Tinker Hatfield Air Jordan 3 sketch comes off the page and into reality for the first time ever. This Tinker edition shows off Hatfield's unique idea to utilize a Nike swoosh on the lateral profile, with a stitched NIKE logo on the medial side. These details were removed in the final Air Jordan 3 design in favor of a more clean look. Launched on the designer's birthday in 2018, Tinker's signature can be found stitched on the inside of the tongue as well as on the box top and hang tag.

In celebration of Michael Jordan's iconic launch from the free throw line thirty years ago during the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 3 Retro NRG 'Free Throw Line.' The sneaker comes dressed in white with Cement Grey accents on the toe box and heel and Fire Red detailing on the eyelets and on the tongue. The model also boasts a translucent sole with a red stripe, exactly where MJ took off from the line. Other details include "3:51" lettering on the back pull tab to remember the time Jordan took flight, and "147" on the tongue as a nod to his final score.
