The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Airness' represents the follow-up to the creative partners' successful Air Jordan 3 collaboration from spring 2021. The iconic silhouette replaces traditional leather construction with a textured suede upper in a subtle off-white finish. Premium touches include burgundy snakeskin on the collar and Swoosh, along with a quilted satin lining in the same autumnal hue. A traditional Wings logo is stamped on the collar flap, the interior side of which features MJ's signature and an inscription that reads 'You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.' Additional branding includes a woven tongue tag marked with dual Nike Air and A Ma Maniére logos. The high-top rides on a pre-yellowed midsole and burgundy rubber outsole.

This Air Jordan 1 was originally spotted on the feet of Nike SB team rider Theotis Beasley that comes in a Los Angeles Lakers color scheme. It features a White leather toe box and side panels with Purple trimming along the toe, eyelets and heel, and Yellow on the Swoosh logos and collar. Much like previous Nike SB releases, this one will have a wear away design that looks to have a Chicago-like scheme underneath.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Chicago' 2015 colorway was designed to avoid Jordan's $5,000-per game fines from the NBA after the original black and red colorway was banned. The 'Chicago' was first retroed in 1994 and stayed true to the 1985 design. Further retros were released in 2013 with small changes to the design, and again in 2015 with the original branding details: the Nike Air logo on the tongue and the original clean heel without the Jumpman logo.
